Your Strategy needs a Strategy
After working in digital construction, construction project management and e-commerce for three years I was enthusiatic to find new things to explore in engineering that piqued my interest. It was time to pursue a management degree. I enrolled in the Master of Engineering Management program at Duke University where I took a course called 'Competitive Strategies in High-Tech Industries' by Anthony O'Driscoll.
This course really made me think about how companies work. What went well for companies, what is the strategy palette, and what should a company possibly be doing in the future. This course helped me understand why and how companies find solutions and why they do what they do.
Here are a few companies and live cases that I've been able to explore in the course. Contact me if there are any comments.
